TOC Lotix – Total organic carbon meter, measures solid and liquid samples

The Lotix TOC combustion analyzer is designed to accurately measure the carbon content of water substrates down to the ppb level. It uses proven high-temperature combustion, oxidation of carbon materials to carbon dioxide, and detection using the new Non-Dispersive Infrared Absorption (NDIR) Sensor.

Category: Brand:

  • No cost for cylinder shifters or 7-port valves!
  • Ability to run 0-20,000 ppm without dilution with a single 0.5 mL injection volume without calibration curve
  • Easy to use software, just <1 minute to set up the calibration curve
  • The simple design ensures that almost any component can be accessed for service or repair. The furnace module is located at the front for quick and easy furnace maintenance
  • Real-time analysis data and print reports while the device is running
  • Easy scheduling for priority templates
  • Ability to export to CSV or PDF and import from CSV files
  • Average run time for three TOC samples is 13-15 minutes (depending on concentration)
  • Use the 10 L pressurized water tank to clean the sample path, loop, and needle before and after each sample without using any position on the autosampler.
  • Possibility to run solids with optional modules (LSS module, mixing module, SO3 Scrubber, salt analyzer)
METHOD
  • Standard Method 5310B
  • EPA 415.1 and 9060A

Gas supply Free Air Hydrocarbon and Carbon Dioxide (CO2) with a TOC (greater than 18% oxygen) <1 ppm or UHP O2. Gas can be supplied from a cylinder or a TOC generator. If a TOC generator is used, the gas formed must be hydrocarbons and not contain water. To ensure the use of clean carrier gas, we recommend using a complete CO2 removal system and trapping hydrocarbons between the gas source and the analyzer. Ultra-zero or Oxygen air can be used.
Inlet gas pressure 50 – 100 psi
